Hi there, I've spent a fair amount of time along the Blue Ridge in Virginian and North Carolina. The Parkway is a wonderful drive. It looks like you in that neck of the woods, near Asheville maybe? I love it up there.
Where California tends toward wowie-zowie spectacular, North Carolina is more serene as your picture indicates.
