Red-Headed Woodpecker
This is the same bird as the other day. He kept swinging from the bottom of the feeder. What a character!
Oliver with his new RUBBER ball! One of the first toys he hasn't been able to tear up in a few minutes. It's a hard rubber ball that has a bell inside and he keeps trying and trying to get the bell out.
I just posted a video of him playing with the ball, for those interested. Go to the video link under "Links".

OK....This is one of the squirrels that keeps getting thrown off my Yankee Flipper Bird Feeder. He's sitting there eyeing the seed he can't get.
(The Yankee Flipper is the only real squirrel proof bird feeder, that I know about.)

This is what's left of the toy. The little gold ball that was inside is under the couch somewhere.
Bought Oliver a new toy today!
A plastic ball with one of those little balls on the inside. He keeps trying to get to it from the bottom...turning it over and over. He's played with it for over an hour and just now busted the plastic and got the little ball out.
Mission accomplished!
