I think you did well Jill! it is always hard to capture flying birds - you need just the right light and shutter speed..cheers :)

Great work! I've not been able to do that yet. I try with the gulls down at the beach. I like the deep colors in the second shot.
Nice capture. Difficult to get a shot of a Redtail unless you are on a stand. I saw one flying above me after coming back from lunch a few days ago. I screwed myself into the ground trying to get a zoom shot.
