Red-Headed Woodpecker
This is the same bird as the other day. He kept swinging from the bottom of the feeder.

What a character!

Maybe since he's used to working so hard for his food, he felt like he should put some adventure into his birdfeeder eating?

Reviewed ALL your pictures and LOVED them. You are "stopping to smell the roses"Many do not have that privledge or just don't look.Nature is so rewarding when we take the time to appreciate.Photography a great hobby!Feeding the birds is fun I am waiting for a cardinal to visit my backyard. We are in a new housing development...you tear down trees to build, then replant the trees and wait for the birds to return.
